Born a gifted and artistic child, Tom continually had abusive adults and children at home and at school who did everything they could to squander his imagination, joy, and spirit. Little did these abusers know how unbreakable Tom’s spirit was and that he would later defy all odds that were against him to go on to create and author one of the most iconic screenplay and movie conceptualizations of all time called, “The Immortals”. In fact, the movie idea was SO iconic that it was stolen by Warner Brothers and made into a billion-dollar franchise that you all now know as “The Matrix” - without giving Tom credit where it was and is due. And Tom and his family have suffered dearly for shining a light down the rabbit hole of Tom’s life that’s resulted in a REAL life story that may - in itself - be an even more complex, astounding, and layered story than the fictional impossibilities and intricacies we all experienced watching The Matrix. Sometimes, reality becomes stranger than fiction and that is certainly true with what you are about to hear in today's show.

As a survivor himself, Tom has also been a powerful voice for the voiceless, and advocate for survivors and an ally for people like me who care to offer a helping hand in the fight for truth, justice and freedom for children and survivors alike. He’s gentle yet ferocious and someone you absolutely want to have in your corner.
