Dear Reader,
You are in for a TREAT this week with a new episode featuring SRA, mind control, and child sex trafficking survivor Anneke Lucas. Anneke has been an instrumental part of my own personal journey learning about the darkness that exists in the world and her grace, eloquence, and courage to speak about such hard topics has been a tremendous inspiration in looking within myself to discover my own courage and strength in my journey as a survivor advocate and podcast host. When I listen to Anneke speak, I’m reminded of the warrior spirit and the loving heart of survivors who have advanced in their healing journeys. I’m reminded of the miracle and blessing it is that we GET to listen to survivors speak their testimonies. I’m reminded that survivors like Anneke weren’t supposed to come out on the other side - healed, peaceful, and helping others. I’m reminded that humans are resilient beyond our wildest comprehension - and how survivors are helping us relearn this fact.
It was an honor getting time with Anneke and I do hope you take some time to listen - her MASSIVE heart really shines through, and you will find yourself in absolute jaw-dropping awe understanding where she came from to where she is now.
